7 Weddings and A…
There are a ton of ways I have considered finishing that phrase. Thankfully, “Funeral” is not one of them. But “Hangover,” “lmost Broke,” “nother 4-Day Work-Week,” “Missed Holiday…Again” and “Ripped Pair of Tuxedo Pants” all would have been appropriate.
This is definitely not living up to the “Plethora of Marketing Ideas” blog subtitle…unless you see something I don’t. But I know there’s a new business idea in here somewhere. I’ve had tons since the first wedding-related event I attended this year—my buddies’ joint bachelor party in Vail, CO in March. Unfortunately, I don’t think there’s a single one that would be profitable. (So Web 2.0 of me.) But I’ll have time to keep thinking during my 5 more weddings (and countless surrounding events) this year.
So the two aforementioned guys with the co-bachelor party have gotten married. The weddings have been worth the cost (see above considered post title endings). I think you’ll agree after seeing one quick video from each.

If you couldn’t tell, most of my friends love to dance. (And yes, there have been a few business ideas focusing (on) that passion alone.)
Be With You, Hoo, Boooo!
In case you weren’t watching NBC’s Today Show this morning, I’ve got the watercooler talk right here. Matt Lauer serving up that anticipation. Ann Curry giving up that support in the form of a half-smirk, half-frown to the losers. Today Show throws a Martha Stewart wedding!
And the winner, believe it or not, were the Singing Bandits. Not to be confused with Wet or Sticky Bandits. The beat out Tim, I mean Tommy Duncan and his Be-ance by the narrowest margin in Today-Show-throws-a-Wedding-history by 500 votes!
Go here and click on “Song and Dance! Wedding couples perform” to watch the final four talent competition. (No, NBC doesn’t understand the concept of letting people easily share their content.) Please wait until the end for Cody’s suspect musicial performance and Jessica’s talent of nodding, smiling, and lip syncing the words being sung to her.
Why I Love Facebook #3
Yes same person once again. And just to be clear, you read from the bottom up. The packing happened first, but clearly not long before the wedding. :) Is Facebook the next Vegas? It’s certainly cheaper. Someone get on that virtual chapel app. (Don’t forget Elvis.)
Trent’s Wedding
From Friday morning arrival Minneapolis to Friday afternoon arrival in Cleveland to tux shop (where they told me that my left leg is 1″ longer than my right) to rehearsal dinner to bars to pizza to cell phone to pass out to wake up to freezing to bar to shower and dress to seating people to rolling out the cloth to walking down the aisle to I do’s to releasing guests to pictures to drinking to reception entrance to long ass speeches and one “awesome” one from the best man to grace (which I believe is still going) to eating to more drinking to dancing and back to the bar to the after party in the hotel to serving (and chanting) to hard work to bathroom floor to bed to hotel waffles to bye’s to Cleveland airport to Minneapolis. Enjoy…
